Pilgrim Tour 2014 Italy
It was a pleasure to welcome the participants of "Pilgrim Tour 2014" in Sestri Levante at the Ligurian coast in May 2014! Every second year the roadster tour starts in Sweden, leading through beautiful spots in Germany, Austria and Italy. Having passed the Dolomites, Garda Lake, Bologna and Maranello the drivers were ready for 120 km of curvy roads to Sestri Levante, a little coastal town in Liguria between Portofino and Cinque Terre. After a relaxing dinner the participants enjoyed their stay at the beautiful Hotel Dei Castelli.
The next day everybody changed four wheels to two and rode on original Italian "Vespas" along small and winding roads to the Cinque Terre. The funny panoramic Vespa tour was a new challenge for the roadster drivers and co-drivers! After lunch with an amazing view at the Mediterranean sea they rode their Vespas back to Sestri Levante. In the evening the group was spoilt with culinary delicacies at the Restaurant of the Hotel Dei Castelli. After two wonderful days at Sestri Levante the tour went on to Piedmont where the Giro D´Italia just passed.
